Buildium is One of Inc. Magazine’s Best Workplaces 2019

Buildium is one of the highest-scoring businesses with standout employee engagement

BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–lt;a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/BuildiumLife?src=hash" target="_blank"gt;#BuildiumLifelt;/agt;–Buildium, the property management solution for real estate professionals, has been named one of Inc. magazine’s Best Workplaces for 2019. This is the fourth workplace culture award awarded to Buildium in 2019; the Boston-based company received Boston Business Journal’s Best Place to Work and Comparably’s ‘Best Company Outlook’ and ‘Best Company: Boston’ awards earlier this year.

Buildium was selected from thousands of companies for the prestigious award, with employee scores reflecting strong workplace engagement, culture, and job satisfaction.

More than 125 Buildium employees responded to the Inc. survey with 90% stating that they were “highly engaged,” while national averages reported only 74% engagement.

Buildium’s CEO, Chris Litster, credits Buildium’s focus on the human side of work with its high levels of employee pride and for the company’s ranking. He said, “I continue to stand in awe of our Buildians for the way they bring their authentic selves to work and put our customers at the forefront of everything they do. I am inspired by the way they work with and challenge each other to make this such a special place to work. I could not be prouder to be part of this team.”

A Buildian that participated in the survey shared, “I’ve never worked for a company where the leadership has so much integrity and is so committed to transparency. I know exactly how my work contributes to the company’s goals, and as a result, I feel personally invested in the company’s success.”

Each nominated company took part in an employee survey, conducted by Omaha’s Quantum Workplace, on topics including trust, management effectiveness, perks, and confidence in the future. Inc. gathered, analyzed, and audited the data. Employers were then ranked using a composite score of survey results.

“With today’s tight labor market, building a great corporate culture is more important than ever,” says Inc. magazine editor in chief James Ledbetter. “The companies on Inc.’s Best Workplaces list are setting an example that the whole country can learn from.”
