Uber Technologies Inc. (UBER) announced that it has entered into a Google (GOOGL) master agreement under which the ride-hailing company will get access to Google Maps platform rides and deliveries services.As part of the four-year agreement, Uber and Google have adopted a new pricing model based on the number of billable trips taken using the services, instead of the number of requests. The transaction also includes tiered volume-based discounts. Financial terms of the agreement weren’t disclosed.The agreement replaces a previous agreement with Google in connection with its Maps services. According to company filings, Uber paid Google about $58 million for using Maps during 2016 to 2018. Shares in Nikola Corp. (NKLA) plunged almost 15% in extended market trading on Friday as the maker of hydrogen-fueled vehicles filed an offering to sell 23.9 million shares of common stock.The stock dropped to $41.78 in after-market trading on Friday. According to the SEC filing, the 23,9 million shares of common stock are issuable upon the exercise of 890,000 warrants originally issued in a private placement in connection with the initial public offering of VectoIQ and up to 23 million shares. Japan is aiming to invite Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co Ltd or other global chipmakers to build an advanced chip manufacturing plant jointly with domestic chip equipment suppliers, the Yomiuri daily reported on Sunday. The Japanese government hopes to tap the expertise of global chipmakers to rejuvenate the lagging domestic chip industry as advanced chip technologies have become a focal point in national security issues, Yomiuri said. Twitter Inc disabled a campaign-style video that President Donald Trump retweeted on Saturday, citing a copyright complaint. The video, which included music from the group Linkin Park, disappeared from the president's Twitter feed late Saturday with the notification: "This media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner."
