According to the company, this release features many improvements to the product's maintenance capabilities, as well as next-generation user interfaces, a more responsive design, and a fresh new look-and-feel.

Saluting the Dirt Boyz

It's one of the most unforgiving jobs in the U.S. Air Force: serving with the “Dirt Boyz,” the name given for airmen working in the pavement and equipment shops at Air Force bases around the world. They're known as “Dirt Boyz” because of their close relationship with grimy terrain and messy construction materials. As experts in all types of heavy machinery, such as road graders, bulldozers, dump trucks, excavators and front end loaders, they put in long, arduous hours in often brutal weather to maintain base airfields, roads, fences and drainage systems.

Mack Names VP of National Accounts

Mack Trucks has named Richard Hoyle as vice president of national accounts, responsible for all national accounts activities in North America and leading efforts to grow the business segment.

Prior to joining Mack, Hoyle served in a variety of senior leadership positions for a bulk transportation and logistics company. Hoyle also owned and operated a bulk-haul business for 16 years.

In his new position, Hoyle will be based out of Mack's headquarters in Greensboro, N.C. He holds a business management degree from Western Carolina University.

“Having served in numerous positions in the trucking industry from operator to executive-level roles, Rick brings a wealth of experience,” said Jonathan Randall, senior vice president of sales, Mack Trucks North America. “We welcome Rick to our team and look forward to his contributions.”
