Medical pot licence? Does your doc know you drive truck?

MONCTON, NB — Some employers of workers who have acquired a medical marijuana licence are sending letters to doctors to confirm if they are aware that their patient works in a safety sensitive position like trucking.

Consultant Barb Butler of Toronto’s Barbara Butler & Associates Inc. spoke on the issue of Canada’s pending legalization of marijuana at a Transportation Summit Wednesday hosted in New Brunswick by the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association.
