Gillam – a medical technology entrepreneur and big data expert – will
deliver one of two keynote presentations at Wave
2019, ESO’s national data conference held in Austin, Texas March
21-22, 2019. David Page, director of the Prehospital Care Research
Forum, will provide the other keynote.

Informatics for both the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine and the
American College of Emergency Physicians. His keynote will explore
exponential trends in big data, machine learning, robotics, and
computation, and how they are transforming the future opportunities in
both healthcare and public safety (in the pre-hospital, hospital and
post-hospital settings).
In addition to being the Director of the Prehospital Care Research Forum
at UCLA, Page is an active field paramedic with Allina Health EMS in
Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota. He has more than 30 years of continuous
EMS street experience. He will explore a blend of today and tomorrow’s
technology, as well as take a deeper look at international and national
state-of-the art practices.
