DTNA introduces its first medium-duty diesel

The first Freightliner M2s with the new DD5 will be on the market by the end of the year.

YOUNTVILLE, CA. Daimler Trucks North American has officially entered the medium-duty truck engine business with the launch of the Detroit DD5, a 4-cylinder diesel based on a new engine platform first introduced in Europe in 2013.
