Centriq Names IoT Leader Eric Anderson EVP & Chief Partnership Officer to Expand Go-to-Market Channels

Centriq looks to form partnerships with Home Service Providers, Big Box and Home Improvement Retailers, Real Estate and CE Companies as more consumers adopt MyCentriq™ as one place to turn to for everything in and about their homes

SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Centriq has named IoT industry leader Eric Anderson as its EVP & Chief Partnership Officer to expand the company’s channel partnerships. Mr. Anderson will be responsible for developing and leading “go-to-market” partnerships for the company’s Centriq Home Experience Platform with Home Service Providers, Big Box and Home Improvement Retailers, Real Estate/Property Management companies and CE companies.

The Centriq app enables homeowners and consumers to easily and securely capture, store, organize and exchange how-to information about the products essential to their home, enabling them to extract greater value out of their product purchases. With everything the consumer needs to know about their home and the things they own in one place – from product user manuals and troubleshooting, to “DIY” videos and safety recalls – partners can provide a more tailored product ownership experience and eliminate many post-purchase questions.

Recently, Centriq and HomeServe USA (a home emergency repairs and warranty business) announced and launched a partnership to provide users with in-the-moment access to information and resources that help minimize the stress of unexpected home emergencies. Centriq looks to form additional go-to-market partnerships with other service providers, merchants and brands that populate our day-to-day household lives.

Today the average household spends the largest share of its income on housing and household services and products…and yet our movies, music and photos are better organized than the things that actually run our home,” says Eric Anderson. “We’re looking to change all that by providing an equal value exchange between the consumer and the products, brands and services they use to keep their home in shape… inside and outside. Our partners will help co-invent this new space with Centriq users.”

Centriq gains valuable industry leadership experience and furthers its partnership expansion with the arrival of Mr. Anderson. Prior to Centriq, Anderson led TV Personalization businesses for Gracenote/Nielsen and led smart TV, smart home and IoT initiatives at Samsung Electronics and earlier served in executive positions with Handango, Ericsson and Accenture.

We’re excited to bring someone with Eric’s vast experience into the team,” says CEO & co-founder, James Sheppard. “As the SmartHome marketplace evolves, enterprises serving the consumer in their home are looking for additional ways to add value and that’s where our new platform fits. Eric is the ideal person to help us build the ecosystem and transform the consumer experience.”
