Is it “vroom, vroom” time for V2X technology?

A new report from Navigant Research predicts that annual sales of light duty vehicles equipped with factory-installed vehicle-to-external or “V2X” communication systems – in past often referred to as vehicle-to-infrastructure or “V2I” technology – is expected to hit 70 million units by 2025; a market the consulting firm expects will be worth more than $25 billion.

ATA task force meets with Chao, congressional leaders

Intelligent Transportation Society of America releases public policy roadmap that provides recommendations for transportation technologies.

This week, members of the American Trucking Assns.' Infrastructure Task Force traveled to Washington to meet with Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao and key members of Congress to urge swift action to move forward with a long-term infrastructure spending package to address the need for highway and bridge improvements.
