Archway Health’s Technology Suite Earns ‘A’ from Chilmark Research, Top-Rated Among Bundled Payment Conveners

BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Archway
Health
, an innovator with healthcare organizations and self-insured
employers in risk-based payment programs, announced that it has been
rated the top convener technology solution for bundled payment programs,
as outlined in a report by Chilmark Research. Archway received an “A”
from Chilmark, a healthcare industry analyst firm, for its technology
tools, earning Archway the highest rating among convener organizations
taking risk with providers in bundled payment programs.

“For provider organizations to succeed in value-based care models,
particularly bundled payments, they need access to best-in-class tools
for day-to-day care management, patient engagement and outreach, and
analytics that deliver clear, actionable insights,” said Tony Cheng,
Archway’s Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer. “For the past five
years, our product team has been working to constantly improve our tools
based on user feedback and we’re honored to be recognized by Chilmark, a
trusted industry leader, for the value we provide to our clients.”

Archway’s technology suite includes Archway Analytics and Archway
Carelink, which can be used as stand-alone tools or in tandem with
Archway’s value-based care advisory services. With the analytics
platform, providers can model program opportunities, make bundle
selections, and continuously monitor performance in order to make
clinical process improvement decisions. Archway Carelink is a real-time
patient tracking tool that allows care management teams to monitor
episodes and enable more efficient clinical intervention.

Since being reviewed for the Chilmark report, Archway has made
significant additional investments across the business, resulting in a
five-fold growth in its client base, and an expansion of its services
and offerings, including a new suite of provider and self-insured
employer stop-loss products in partnership with an A-rated insurance
carrier. Additionally, Archway has bolstered its team, hiring a Chief
Operating Officer and expanding its clinical team with new leaders in
Clinical Services and Care Management.

Archway’s technology suite and advisory services are deployed within
leading healthcare providers and systems across the continuum of care,
including organizations participating in the Centers for Medicare &
Medicaid Services Innovation bundled payment programs such as the BPCI
Advanced program, Oncology Care Model (OCM), Comprehensive Care for
Joint Replacement (CJR), and Accountable Care Organizations. A new BPCI
Advanced open enrollment window will commence in the Spring, according
to CMS, for the second cohort of providers to join BPCI Advanced with a
program start date of January 1, 2020.
