    This ‘Dog of the Dow’ looks ready to break out after 6 years of moving sideways

    One of this year’s “Dogs of the Dow” seems set to climb into uncharted territory, according to Jonathan Krinsky at MKM Partners. “Caterpillar Inc. looks poised to break out after six years of testing the $114-$115 level,” MKM’s chief market technician wrote in a report dated Sunday. In other words, Caterpillar’s stock (CAT) appears on track to rise decisively to a new all-time high after spending most of the past six years moving sideways or lower.
