Volkswagen takes stake in Navistar, to supply powertrain by 2019

LISLE, IL – Volkswagen Truck and Bus is investing US $256 million in Navistar, assuming a 16.6% stake in the company and forming an alliance that is expected to generate US $500 million in savings over the next five years.
