Volkswagen takes stake in Navistar, forms alliance

LISLE, IL – Volkswagen Truck and Bus is investing US $256 million in Navistar, assuming a 16.6% stake in the company and forming a strategic alliance that is expected to generate US $500 million in synergies over the next five years.
