PersonalMed Appoints Veteran Pharmacy Executive, Bill Letendre, MSPharm, MBA, as President

HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–PersonalMed, LLC, today announced board member Bill Letendre, MSPharm, MBA, has been named president, effective immediately. As president, Letendre will have responsibility for all of the company’s operations. He will report directly to the board.


As PersonalMed continues its growth, Letendre will focus on strategic actions and leverage its bench strength to expand the company’s current portfolio of clients and services. “I am excited and honored to take on this role,” Letendre said. “I look forward to working closely with our talented leadership team and industry partners to deliver value for our pharmacy network members and PBM partners, ultimately expanding patient access to personalized medications while delivering cost savings to payers.”

A 50-year compounding pharmacy industry veteran and a member of the PersonalMed board since 2015, Letendre has served in many leadership capacities, including vice president of Pharmacy Management Services at PCCA, where Letendre provided business coaching to over 200 independent pharmacies in the Compounding Pharmacy Management Services program. Under Letendre’s leadership and coaching, his clients saw solid topline growth and expanded their services to help more patients access compounded medications. Letendre also serves as a board member of the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP) and the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) that administers the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB). Letendre also played an instrumental role in leading the initiatives to form the program that has become PersonalMed.
