  • Unlock 20x 3D printing productivity

VENTURA, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Nexa3D, the maker of ultrafast polymer 3D printers, today announced its plans to attend Formnext 2021. From November 16 to 19 at Messe Frankfurt, Nexa3D can be found in Hall 12.0 at booth E01, exhibiting its end-to-end validated workflow, which brings 20x productivity compared with competitive technologies. The company will also launch its latest product line, set to increase access to reliable high-speed 3D printing.

At Formnext, Nexa3D will unveil the details of its newest 3D printer. Visitors to the show will see first-hand how quick, easy, and affordable the future of 3D printing will be, with a new desktop system putting the power of production directly in the customer’s hands. The system carries the same 20x printing advantage as other Nexa3D equipment and will enable engineers and non-specialists alike to turn ideas to reality from their desks.

“Nexa3D’s latest product launch takes the power of ultrafast 3D printing directly onto the desktop and this means anyone can bring the magic of ideas to life in minutes,” said Avi Reichental, CEO and co-founder of Nexa3D. “The market is ready for a product that offers rapid 3D printing, material flexibility, a compact size and an affordable price rolled into one easy-to-use technology, and that is exactly what we are there to provide.”

The full end-to-end validated workflow will showcase the breadth and depth of benefits that can be achieved by applying Nexa3D’s growing portfolio. The exhibit will include the NXE 400 and NXD 200 ultrafast 3D printers alongside xCURE and xCLEAN post-processing equipment.

Also on the booth will be the QLS 350 high-productivity industrial sintering station along with three post-processing units for the system. Designed for higher operating temperatures and broader powder processing windows, the QLS 350 offers the highest part throughput in its class, delivering unprecedented production throughput and flexibility. The system is a compelling alternative to traditional injection molding, designed with full Industry 4.0, lights-out manufacturing capabilities.

Among the real-world use cases highlighted on the booth will be work with WeMed and Arcimoto. WeMed turned to Nexa3D technology to create SKOP, the world’s first additively manufactured connected stethoscope. Finely detailed SKOP devices will be 3D printed at scale to expand access to on-demand medical care. SKOP came to life through collaborative work with WeMed, Nexa3D, Henkel, and contract manufacturer Third. Also shown at Formnext will be Arcimoto’s Fun Utility Vehicle (FUV). Nexa3D worked with Arcimoto to design and 3D print parts for the FUV to get a multi-use vehicle rolling out more efficiently and effectively.
