Insurers to Western truckers: “Get with the program.”

EDMONTON–The Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA) is encouraging fleets to join the Insurance Bureau of Canada’s (IBC) cargo-theft reporting program.

In a message to members posted earlier this week, the AMTA says the IBC and the Canadian Trucking Alliance launched a cargo-theft program in 2014. It caught on in Ontario and eastwards and then, just over a year ago, IBC announced that it was expanding to include the western provinces. …Read the rest of this story
