Election 2016: Detroit-area locales to decide on road taxes Aug. 2

Voters in communities in the Detroit area will cast ballots next week on efforts to aid local governments pay for needed road and bridge work. Specifically, voters will decide on Tuesday, Aug. 2, whether to charge themselves more to raise additional revenue for transportation projects.
