JACKSONVILLE, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–EdgePresence, formerly known as Modular Life Solutions, an owner and operator of edge points-of-presence (PoPs) for cell tower, edge data center and enterprise solutions, is currently deploying its EdgePod data centers across 20 markets throughout the U.S. EdgePods are purpose-built edge compute micro data centers, comprehensively and compactly designed to include critical power, distribution, fire suppression, physical security and cooling. EdgePods are anchored at the base of cell towers, data centers, and enterprise campus locations serving as a turnkey solution for businesses looking to implement a flexible and dynamic edge strategy.
Since the introduction of EdgePod’s one year ago at Connectivity Expo, EdgePresence has been building and strengthening partnerships with companies from carriers, cloud providers, data center operators, interconnection services and more to facilitate enterprise-ready solutions to support the growth of edge compute requirements enabled by 5G. EdgePresence EdgePods are currently operational and tenant-ready in Jacksonville, Florida, with installs planned for May and June in Austin and Denver respectively.
