BC trucking permits move online to become wait-free

KAMLOOPS, BC — The British Columbia trucking industry will soon be able to apply and receive permits online, with no wait times.

onRouteBC is the first of its kind in Canada and will replace the current Transport Permit System (TPS). The new system is being tested with pilot partners in September, and will be available to all commercial carriers on Oct. 3.
