Highway safety's 10 Most-Wanted List

WASHINGTON, D.C.–Traffic fatalities across the U.S.A. rose by over 7% from 2014 to 2015 and early results show that there has been more than a 10% increase between 2015 and this year. For the first time since 2008, more than 35,000 people died on U.S. highways this year. It’s the largest annual percent increase in 50 years.
Indeed, in a recent interview with the New York Times, the head of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Mark Rosekind said, “this is a crisis that needs to be addressed now.” …Read the rest of this story
